This entails using an angled light to find imperfections in the walls, mudding them, and sanding. Also, it involves lightly sanding most of the wall before applying the first coat of paint.
Use of high-quality roller covers. Cheap roller covers throw burrs on the walls. Who wants to stare at crusty burrs on the wall after it is newly painted?? Nobody.
Lightly sanding, mudding and caulking trim before applying a high-quality trim paint is an absolute must.
Using only high-quality paint that is cleanable and scrubbable is incredibly important. Remember that paint also serves as a protective coating.
