Bitar Painting adds value to 114 Matthews Dr, Beaver PA

I was referred to Timothy by Amy Logan of Remax. Timothy was in charge of handling the sale of the property. I looked over the property with Timothy and we decided on the “less is more approach”. We did consider upgrading light fixtures and perhaps painting the entire home, ceilings and walls in order to add value. However, the owner wanted to adhere to a certain budget so the decision was made to rid the walls of imperfections and then apply Sherwin’s premier paint Emerald to the walls. Also, the owner decided to have the wall paper removed around the fireplace. The current color in the house complimented the stain trim so the decision was made to color match. Most of the main walls on the main floor was painted as well as all of the walls in the basement. The pictures actually don’t do this one justice because the home felt new after the job was complete! The home is now under contract. Was more value added than the cost of painting?? I am almost positive.

At a the very minimum, most home need some painting prior to listing. The money spent on painting is paid back on the sale of the home and likely far more.
