I received a call from a realtor about a listing she had coming up. She knew that painting was in order but also thought there may be some other issues that should be addressed prior to the house going on the market.
I met the owner Chuck and gave him my take on what needed painted. Essentially the entire home needed painted, including the ceilings. I emailed the quote over to Chuck the next day and he told me to move forward. I decided to bring Dan and Tim in on the painting project since the house was rather large.
Oftentimes, it takes spending a day in a house to really assimilate the shortcomings of the home. After day one I talked things over with Dan and Tim about the dated light fixtures and hardware in the bathrooms. We all agreed that replacing the hardware in every bathroom and most of the light fixtures in the house would really make the home feel more updated. I called Chuck and he gave us the go ahead.
We replaced around 15 light fixtures in the home, replaced the hardware in three bathrooms, painted the ceilings and walls of each floor and it turned out amazing. The home was listed shortly after and sold in 5 days!!
