✅Prepping the walls is incredibly important…
This entails using an angled light to find imperfections in the walls and mudding and sanding them down. It also entails lightly sanding most of the wall before applying the first coat of paint.
✅Applying the paint in a manner that minimizes hat banding is also important. This involves immediately back rolling the wet paint after it’s cut in.
✅Using high-quality roller covers is incredibly important. Cheap roller covers tend to throw burs on the walls. Who wants to stare at crusty burs on the wall after is newly painted?? Nobody.
✅Lightly sanding, mudding and caulking trim before applying a high-quality trim paint is an absolute must.
✅ Using only high-quality paint that is cleanable and scrubbable is incredibly important. Remember that paint is also serves as a protective coating.
